Yes. JP Construction carries full general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. We are properly licensed in Pennsylvania for the work we perform. License information is available on request.
We handle all permitting. JP Construction manages the entire permit process, from application submission to scheduling municipal inspections. You don't need to set foot in a township office.
Most room additions take 8-16 weeks from permit approval to completion, depending on size and complexity. Second-story additions and multi-room projects run 16-24 weeks. We provide a detailed project schedule before any work begins.
Custom home costs vary widely based on size, finishes, and site conditions. In Westmoreland County, most custom homes we build range from $250,000 to $1.2 million or more. We give you a detailed written estimate before you commit to anything.
Yes. Our Design & Engineering service includes coordinating with licensed architects and designers to produce construction drawings from your concept or rough sketch. We work with several local professionals and can make recommendations based on your project type.
We price projects thoroughly upfront to minimize surprises. When unforeseen conditions arise, such as hidden structural issues discovered during a renovation, we document everything, discuss your options, and get written approval before proceeding with any change order.
Every JP Construction project is assigned a dedicated project lead from kickoff to completion. You'll have consistent communication and a direct line to our team by phone or text. No call center, no ticketing system.
What Latrobe Customers Say
JP Construction built our two-car garage from the ground up and it came out better than we imagined. They pulled all the permits, kept us informed throughout, and finished on schedule. Quality workmanship and zero headaches.
We added a master suite and laundry room to our 1980s colonial. JP Construction matched the roofline and exterior perfectly, and neighbors have asked us if the house was always that size. Their crew was on-site consistently and that level of involvement made all the difference.
JP Construction handled everything for our commercial build-out: design, permits, construction, inspections. We were open three weeks ahead of the original schedule. I'd recommend them to any business owner in Westmoreland County.
